Drop the Dominator RAM, it's just the same as the PC8500 XMS2 sticks... only overpriced and with fans.

Looks like a very nice system.

    Have fun with it.

Careful with the ram it may not boot first time on the pc8500 stuff.

What ram would you suggest i'd go for? Then again, i've heard some mobo's are dodgey or fussy with certain ram manufacturers.

How good are Team Xtreem 2GB (2 x 1GB) DDR2 PC2-8000C5 1000MHz Dual Channel Kit? I've heard from reviews, they are a pretty good manufacturer but nothing else to do with overclocking

I didn't mean so much the manafacturer..the dominator stuff is really good..although possibly over priced compared to the xms2 stuff as it is just a different heat sreader.

Its the speed and the volts they require..the 680i may kick up a fuss as it defaults 1.85 volts and is expecting 800mhz ram
