Fom a reliability point of view, mine died within an afternoon, so make of that what you will, but thats a few hours longer than some

The cheap rubbish I was talking about was the remote (garbage), there was loads of cables and other accessories, which I cant remember what they were (its a while ago now), which at first looked like an impressive bundle of stuff, but on further inspection, was a lot of unneeded bulk that made a pretty ordinary board an expensive one.

I cant see any reason why they wouldnt work

What cpu are you going for? If you are having the E4300 you will need a bios update before it will work.

Whaich is true of virtually all mobo packages. Think it's a case of marketing men getting involved rather than engineers.

    For example my current commando:-

Selling point - 3 Temperature Headers on mobo. But - no thermal cables provided , these come normally with fan controllers & must cost peanuts.

Selling Point - LCD Poster - Actuality fixed to rear of mobo unlike abit guru thingy , so 99% of time is unused.

AI Suite - Windows tweaking tool - Doesn't run

Not singling out the commando particularly it just my current mobo so these things are fresh, but DFI, MSI boards i've had are all similar

Thats true, but at the time, I paid £158 quid for it, which made it worse. I'm not sure what I was expecting, maybe a gold pig or a Giraffe's egg. Actually, either of those would have done, Asus, take note

Ah, I was on about the P5W DH....the commando was £131 I think, plus an immeasurable amount of mental anguish
