http://www.quietpc.com/gb-en-gbp/pro...oling/tr-ultra
says the ultra extreme, due in 32 days....
:O idk why is it taking so long. the ultra is on order for 30 days too.
I've only seen them at quietpc.com so far, they had a few in the other day for £47.50 + del (~£53). They have since put the price up to £49.99 + del (~£55) but with a month's leadtime!
You could import from somewhere like jab-tech.com, but the shipping and potential customs charge may be high.
EDIT: IIRC, the shipping was about $30, can't confirm as they're out of stock now

QuietPc is the only place Ive seen em so far aswell. But guys in the U.S have had them for a few weeks now. Maybe they shipped the whole entire 1st batch there cos they knew it wud sell out quick...idk
Using the same CPU & cooler, is it true that there's no guarantee that Harkin (or anyone) can achieve the same level of OC as someone else?
Also, is it true that different 'batch' processors OC differently? For instance, I've heard that 'B batch' CPUs are best for overclocking. How can one tell which batch is which though? And most importantly, how/where can one get hold of a 'B batch' E6600 for example? G
P.S. If anyone feels this is unrelated to the OP's post or requires a new thread, I shall delete it
No worries Crossbow. I did ask the same kinda thing earlier, seems its just luck of the draw unless u cud see the Box 1st which rules out any online buying Wonder if Scan wud tell me the number? Then again its just hearsay which ones cud be best OC unless peeps have been doin sum serious testing?
Thanks Cluck & Harkin. Yeah, I now see the similar query & reply - posts 8 & 9, doh! G
If you really want it, you really can't go wrong w/ a u-120 x; it's a great hs when lapped. It has to be pushing the limits of thermal dissipation on air. I'll be really interested in seeing some real temp data on the ifx-14 vs. the u-120 x or other monster air coolers.
