    I've just noticed something quite good..

    Err, say I forgot to remove the stuff on the Arctic cooler and still added Arctic Silver to the CPU, would that be bad? Might have made another rookie mistake here...

    Yes, you'll have too much and it wont work properly...your temps will be too high and you risk the stuff splodging out of the sides and shorting something.

    what he said, and they probably work in different ways so mixing them isnt a good idea. lets hope u didnt put too much of that precious arctic on there

    i use zalman zmsg1 is what i use great stuff in my opinion easy to apply doesnt conduct electricity as it doesnt have metal particals in it, and good performance plus pretty cheap imo.
