Certainly interesting to hear FPS gamers advocating trackballs, do you not find that you can get precision or response, but not both?

I would have though you could achieve the speed of a mouse user by using high sensitivities, but surely that would reduce the accuracy or precision or any movement?

The alternative would be to have lower sensitivity and therefore have the precision but not have the same 'flicky' speed required for some FPS's

Out of curiosity, which FPS games do you play?

actually I reckon the Razer/Microsoft Habu is probably the best now

the comfort of the intellimouse explorer 3.0 (design classic) and the precision of Razer, and now they've sorted out the firmware and software troubles completely.

can anyone recommend me a cordless? Logitech prefered but i'm open to suggestion.

I've currently got a small Microsoft wireless laptop mouse, it's awesome but it needs an upgrade.

There is no such thing as a "best mouse" for everyone. The single most important thing about a mouse is how it feels in your hand.
The DPI of mice is largely irrelevant in this day and age. Stupidly high numbers are there for Epenis points more than additional accuracy. The polling rate of the USB port that the mouse is on is far more important.

I have a MX518, and while it really is a great mouse, it just doesnt fit my hand anywhere near like my old V3 Microsoft Intelimouse did. I'll be investing in a Habu as soon as I have the cash

I need wireless, fairly small, and some extra buttons.
I've heard the logitech g5 gets stuck buttons and wheels aswell. So i'm not up for that, to be honest. I've had my Microsoft mouse for ages and never any problems, so maybe i'll go for the Habu or something.

    Overlockers.co.uk customer review.

I would be so pissed if my mouse wheel was sicking, or the buttons weren't responding.
