After bit of research found these 2 sites as the main g15 support sites:
http://www.g15forums.com/
http://www.g15mods.com/
Found that FRAPS, Ventrillo and Everest have built in support for the G15 screen.
Found an app for the G15 screen that works with Trillian to let you receieve and send messages straight through the keyboard even when playing a game full screen:
http://www.ceruleanstudios.com/downl...l.php?item=397
Also found an app for Counter-Strike Source and CS 1.6:
http://www.echovoice.com/echovoice/e...plication.html
And found that I can create a custom screen using LCDstudio
Think I will be mainly using the Trillian, Everest and CounterStrike apps. LCDStudio looks nice but seems to be a bit of a resource hog

yep got all my stuff from the g15 forum, use everest, teamspeak plugin, battlefield has built in support (god knows why CS doesnt as default now)
you also get a bunch of stuff with it.. ditch most of it as its always loaded into memory (only downside to the plugings is they tend to stay in memory)
The G15 is one of those things I never regret spending the extra on, it's been so useful in so many scenarios.
I used LCDStudio for a while when I first got it but I found it to be unstable and buggy so I just stick with the inbuilt apps and a few other modules I find useful.
It's nice when you get a game which has native support for the G15 screen though, like BF2142 because it really is quite useful.
I take it some of you guys ahve the G15 aswell? Have any of you experienced the paint on the keys wearing off?
nope mines heading for a year and its fine, should always type with clean hands, if you eat and type you corrode the finish.
Lol, you know what, that might jsut be the problem. Not that I don't wash my hands or anything but I do use the keyboard ALOT. I was thinking of investing in another G15 but its been a while now and I'm afriad that they might bring out a G16 or something.
You think they will pring out a newer version anytime soon?
OCP
Dunno, ask them?
i did, just had a bigger engine in it :\ even had the same colour.. obviously newer and less miles
also had a logitech keyboard, and brought its bigger brother the G15,
as for what they do next, well they made its little brother without the screen on,
i stopped playing the waiting game for new parts to come out based on speculation alone, i have to see an official press release saying were making a G16 it will be out in 3 months before i would hold off on a choice like that.
I'll buy another one if they make it look a little less like some kind of star destroyer/battlestar hybrid with undertones of an 80's ghettoblaster.
Well speak of the Devil, I'll be damned.....

Dammit, I want that one now <kicks big lumpy G15>
Ah crap, it always happens Just as you buy something, the new version gets announched the next day!
Ah well, I'm more than pleased with my current G15, and it seems that the newer one has less features for more money, but a smaller size. Doesnt look like I am going to miss out on much...
Might be interested in the new Logitech G9 mouse though depending on the final specs. Seems like both the g9 and new G15 are going to come out in september.

yeh thank god the new one is another scaled down version, otherwise i would be in the corner about now sulking
might try the G9 as im due to RMA my MX rev' as its acting up, and as they palmed me off with that due to G7 being out of production the G9 may have to do.. damn cables.
