    P5k

Hi all, i purchased this board awhile ago, but the first board i got was faulty. The replacment board was also faulty but they sent it straight back to me because i had not put in all the little bits it comes with.

The letter told me the I/O shield (found it, still in back of case) and CD drivers. (i included 2 of them? is there any more CDs with it?)

I was just wondering if anyone has a list of all the parts it comes with, as its taken long enough to get this far, and i dont want another set back.

    Its the standard P5K.

    Thank you

Until someone who has the motherboard can confirm for definite, the following website has a list of contents in their review of the product:

    http://www.xbitlabs.com/articles/mai...sus-p5k_3.html (Scroll down a bit)

Incidently, what's been the problem with them? Did they share the same fault or was it totally different?

    Cheers mate.

Both the same fault, no display on power up. They have tested the board they sent back to me and they have found that to be faulty aswell, just need the little bits to replace it.

    3 time lucky eh?

Yeah, that is bad luck. There seems to be a lot of complaints regarding the quality of this range with certain features not working out the box, e.g. faulty sound, faulty SATA ports, faulty cables etc. I don't know whether this is due to the quantity they sell, i.e. you're bound to have more duds floating about or whether it's due to their quality assurance.

My P5K came with everything on that list from that link, plus the quick start guide booklet. There are only 2 CD's that came with it (Drivers and additional software).
