I'm looking at buying a GB-P35C-DS3R. Some reviews have mentioned that the northbridge (IE the p35) gets very hot under overclocking and may be the thermal 'weakest link'.

For this reason, i'm considering getting a Xilence 40mm chipset cooler http://www1.hardwareversand.de/6VJOV...=10342&agid=42 , or similar low-profile cooler to help. I don't want to use a large passive cooler, as i expect it will interfere with the CPU cooler (scythe ninja plus)

So, questions for ds3 owners:
1) Is an aftermarket cooler really advisable/necessary?
2) Does the northbridge area have for standard pushpins, or will i need to use adhesive?
