    asus p5k help!!!

    Hi,
i need some help with the motherboard i am going to get,Asus p5k (not deluxe,wifi-ap or p5k3).
    I am getting 1 dvd-rw lightscribe drive, http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Produ...oductID=633826,
    and 1 dvd-rom drive,
    http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Produ...oductID=652552
they are both IDE(PATA) but the motherboard manual i have downloaded says
1x serial ATA power cable for 2 devices,
    2x serial ATA signal cable
    1x ultra DMA 133/100/66 cable
    1x floppy disk drive cable
also because both the dvd-rw lightscibe drive and the dvd-rom drive are both OEM i won;t get any cables with them so, is there enough in the asus p5k box????

    Please

IDE cables are cheap enough, order one just in case, and an audio cable.

So why don't you just get an SATA burner/rom? PATA is dying off, for good reason.

That is an IDE cable. And there is only one IDE socket on the mothboard.

I agree with the others though, if you are buying drives now, why buy IDE drives? Buy SATA ones!
