    Possible System Spec

Well, im hoping to build a new system as my 3200+ system is now dying... slowly but surely!

Just checking if this system is ok or if i should wait a few weeks for the new X38s:

    - Intel Q6600
    - Thermalright Ultima-90 with Scythe S-FLEX 1600 - *Give Opinions*
    - Abit IP35-Pro or Abit IX38 QuadGT - *Is PCIe 2 worth the wait and the HUGE price?*
    - Crucial BL2KIT12864AA804 (2GB 6400) - ORDERED
    - 520W Corsair HX
    - Samsung HD501LJ - *Any quieter/better HDDs for the same price?*
    - P182 - ORDERED

Ill probably be ordering the graphics card at a later date (waiting as long as possible for this)

Budget for these producs is £500-600 (Excluding RAM, Case and Graphics)

Any help would be appreciated, especially about the things with the *s

    Thanks in advance,
    DK

    all looks good to me.
I'd have the scythe ninja in the p182 ..fantastic combination for cooling/silence.

Best hard drive for noise imo is the Western Digital AAKS version especially in that case..it's inaudiable.

I'd go with the IP-35..I don't think the X38's are worth the extra.

Should i swap the fan for a higher rpm:noise fan or is the supplied one okay? (it might be easier for me to get the ninja anyway as i can get it from Scan (Live in Bolton)

    Bolton FTW!

Haha, anyway... I second what Mike said about the AAKS drives being inaudiable and the IP-35.

I'm a Scythe Infinity man myself but I doubt you'll be disappointed with either.

    Re: Possible System Spec

The ninja's fan is perfectly balanced for cooling/silence imo. It doesn't work much better with a faster fan
