Basically, as mentioned by some of you (or at least staffsMike), just a touch better than the GT.
Almost not worth having both product in the line out in my opinion.

Yeah, fair to say over the 2 you'd have to buy the GT. The GTS will be quieter though and presumably cooler too. Other than that, it's not a hard choice to make.
I'd deffinatly still have the GT and i'd certainly have the GT over the GTX since you could SLi them for the same money and i've got a pcie slot just waiting for another gfx card
Now I am starting to regret not grabbing a 8800GT when it first showed up on Ebuyer. I wanted to hold for a passive version of the card, but looking at the current options, there is no reason for the 8800GT to drop back to <£150 level for a long time.
