Another vote for the LG226WTQ. I'm using one now, and everything looks great.

    Re: which 22" monitor?

I'll second the Samsung 226BW; I love mine. It has a VGA and a DVI input. However, if you were willing to spend a little extra, I'd go for the 2232gw; from my limited time with them, they seem to look just as good as the 226BW monitors, but they have a glossy-finish screen. Wish I had seen it before i bought my 226bw actually! But I recommend both all the same; and as I said, I love my 226BW; best LCD monitor I ever used (except maybe for some Dells...).

Oh, speaking of Dell, in case no one knows this, but a representative once told me the only difference between the regular Dell LCDs and the UltraSharps is the fancy stand the US's have! If this is true, you could get a great monitor cheaper than you think unless you need the features of those more expensive stands. Personally, all I really need is tilt. In despite what you might read elsewhere, the Samsung 226BW DOES tilt upwards. It doesn't go more than 45 degrees, maybe, but its enough in my opinion. It takes a little muscle, though, push the top, pull the bottom; it'll tilt, believe me. It does swivel, too.

    Re: which 22" monitor?

You can get a HDMI to DVI converter, so you should be able to run a PS3 on the LG

I came across this site BeHardware - Monitors and found it to be very helpful there are reviews of most 22" monitors and detailed conclusions.

    Re: which 22" monitor?

Personally I'm happy with the Samsung 2032BW monitor I got recently, took a bit of playing to sort out the colour balance (though I only realised when I looked on the tesco.com website and realised I couldn't see the green highlight they use )
