I currently have at home a shuttle PC. Consists of an Intel Pentium 4 3.2ghz (Northwood), 1GB RAM, 6800GT and a 250GB Hard disk.
I have inherited a Intel Core 2 Duo E6600, so will be using that as my mail rig (have ordered an Antec P180 and a larger hard drive fro my needs!). Thing is what to do with my shuttle.
I currently have Vista Ultimate on it, and it runs VERY sluggish. I could stick 2GB of RAM in there, will it run any better? It will probably go into my lounge and be used as a sort of guest/media center PC. I have a copy of WinXP Media Centre. Would that be better or should I stick with Vista and add the extra RAM and use its media capabilities?
