    Cos he said as cheap as possible and unless he's getting his full HD on, 250GB is ample.

    assuming it's actually for just downloads and not storage you could just get an 80/160GB hard drive..

    If your downloading more than that I would have the KY ready for a long stretch

    I used to use an Epia 600, passive cooled and nearly silent(i had a case with one 120mm exhaust fan for the HDD heat), could handle torrents no problems.
    Now its just used for softsqueeze in my living room when i want some music.
    Got it s/h wasn't that expensive.
