Brilliant so its either the OCZ or the 'Black Dragon'.... is there ANYTHING slightly better in one of the two?

    **Chirp In Time**

I run OCZ memory and my Q6600 is at 3.0ghz (plenty for me).

I use the Platinum stuff though.

Re: Yet another question on RAM (sorry)

You seriously need to bite the bullet lol. It's all the same. Corsair xms2, ocz gold/platinum, geil, g-skill, crucial.. for what you need it for it's seriously not going to make any difference. Tbh I would just get the corsair, that way you get to deal with scan if it's faulty which is the best place you can be if something goes wrong.

Re: Yet another question on RAM (sorry)

your right, I think im been too fusy besides, the reason I wanted 2x2gb rather than 4x1gb, is so id have two slots left for a further 2x2gb, so in the end Ill have 8gb in total.. and im not really going to need to overclock that i am

Re: Yet another question on RAM (sorry)

No you won't be able to overclock it passed stock with that chip and the next chip you will want wont use DDR2 memory so I really would just get the corsair stuff. Very reliable, and unlikely to go wrong unless it's DOA in which case as I said you are in scans very capable hands.

If you want it cheaper fire off an email to themanwhocan@scan.co.uk and request it for today only
