try opening the door of the p182 and remove all the extra 5.25 drive covers.... i drop 5-8 degrees doing this. got a kama bay on order to hopefully improve the situation further.

remember the 45nm chips have the issue where the bios/program will incorrectly read the temp from the diodes etc and so you got a higher than normal temp reading. My e8400 gets to 55C on load but the ac7 is cold still after 3hours, just shows .

Try using coretemp or TAT to measure the temps, i also used to use asus probe but the temps were unreliable by about 5-10 degrees sometimes

Irrc TAT does not work with the 45nm chips.
