What drivers for an sn45g?

Quick question -

For the chipset should I use Shuttle's own drivers , that are somewhat old, or get the latest and greatest Nvidia drivers off guru3d.com ??? Would there be any speed benifit or will it break everything ???

Oh this has bin mentioned before i think but would there be any point temp wise in not using that shim the you get with the shuttle??
