    Boot help

    Hey guys!
    Im trying to boot my new pc using the windows 98 cd (will update later) but I get this error message:
    Primary Channel : drive not found
    Secondary channel : drive not found
    When I try to format my drive it says memory allocation error...
    plz help

    I think the Primary and Secondary channels refer to IDE. Do you get the mesages before Windows would normally start or when it starts booting from the CD?

    If the messages after after booting from the CD, check to make sure the PC is picking up you hard drive(s) when it boots up - its normally the Primary Master.
