I'd advise checking to see if SP3 bugs ae mostly out before going up to it...
I've seen windows at it's best..it's what happens when you turn on the computer and it doesn't all crash.

By who? Have tried it and you notice a difference?
I am running 2gb with Vista x64 and on another computer with Vista x86 and they both are as smooth as each other...
I am not saying that there is no difference, I am just saying that the difference is tiny and often blown out of proportion by people who have read something on the internet that was originally exaggerated.
With SP1 vista 32bit is plenty good enough with 2GB, it really has made all the difference to me. My laptop sucked before.. now it's the king it was always meant to be
64bit will I assume run faster than 32bit will with 2GB of RAM. There is no need for 4GB but if you can afford it right now it's seen as a good buy. It's not going to get any cheaper than £50 for 4GB of quality DDR2.
