HITACHI VGA Problem!

Hi I recently bought this Hitachi TV and when I go to view the PC connection it says no input found then when I plug in the VGA cable at the back the no input goes away but the blue screen with nothing there remains.

Any ideas how to fix it?

Is it being set up as a second monitor?

You would perhaps need to set this up through windows or ATi/Nvidia control panel.

If it's a primary monitor you may have left the PC set to a higher resolution than the TV can output. Just a thought.
