meh, both are equally as good from my own expiriences so far scan probably is now more attractive cos of the free delivery option.

Anyone got any ideas for improvement on that without adding cost?

    not that much more:

i've skimped on cases before and regretted it, it's possibly the longest lasting bit of kit you'll be buying!

    Re: Cheapo gaming rig, perhaps

I've gotta admit the Elite 330 is one of the worst cases ever. It scratches on touch, the metal is so flimsy and thin. The only good things about it are the tool less designs but other than that its a really 'cheap' case. I have to agree with shbris the Antec 300 is far better quality for a bit more.

Really? I've built using it and I thought it was awesome. £14 is a bit too much extra.

yeh just looking through specs, there's no other place to take money from so guess 330 is it

and i got an antec, thought it was best budget case i've seen in ages, but all a matter of opinion i guess! you can get an elite with built in psu i think which might save a bit

Probably going to be ordering later on, All look okay?

Sata cable because the motherboard only comes with one.

DVI cable for me, one for my dad who is also needing one.

    Wireless stick for my bro.

    Looks good, jah?

    Re: Cheapo gaming rig, perhaps

I would probably spend the extra £6 and get the Antec £300 comes with better cooling out of the box and is very well made and laid out.

I would also suggest the XFX 9600GSO XXX (£64.61) over the 9600GT while the GT is the better card the pre-aplied overclock on the GSO really evens the playing field. I really am currently having an aversion to that Palit cooler on some cards its a jet engine others it seems to be fine a bit of a lottery you may say.

Yeah, think I will get the antec three hundred. But not the 9600Gso. I'm gaming at 1680x1050, 384mb VRAM won't be enough for that!

    Re: Cheapo gaming rig, perhaps

I think you may be surprised have you checked any reviews to back up your supposition? Have a look at this review from Hexus http://www.hexus.net/content/item.php?item=15484 actually is looking at the card I was suggesting you consider.

If it wasn't for that cooler I would be saying get the 9600GT all the way but as I say that cooler gives me bad vibes.
