i say go with Lian Li or Silverstone around that price point, and you can't really go wrong...

It all depends what you're looking for. If you like something compact and classy go with the Antec SOLO, there's no turning back with the SOLO and you can pick it up for way under £100.

If you're in favour of the HAF-932, its a brilliant case for the money, the aircooling is unbeatable IMO, better than the Antec 1200 for sure.
Inside is a joy to work with, comes with wheels and 8pin 12V+ cable if your PSU cable to too short.
Only drawback it isn't all black interior.

Not to sure on the dust, even though it has no filters, insides are no more dustier than my CM690 was at the same point of time (2 months) and that case had all front filtered and I added my own side filter too, we'll see in 6 months time though ;p

Re: Best case for around the £100 mark

The Skeleton looks a very nice case but not really one that is suitable for here at the moment. We are doing a log of replastering and that means loads of dust. This case actually caught my eye http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Xclio...e-Fans-w-o-PSU much cheaper than £100 I know so I am wondering how much worse off I would be with this case over the more expensive ones. It could always mean I can get a good PSU to go with the case if I went with this option too.

For that price (Skeleton - £150~) you must really have to have your heart set on that... system holder thing.

That is quite a wacky case. The Antec 300 was cheaper still, has a big silly fan on the top but has looks I can live with.

The skeleton is just odd. Don't see how that can get through CE emissions tests

Re: Best case for around the £100 mark

I'm gopnna get shouted at for this "old timer" suggestion, BUT the Akasa Eclipse is STILL one of my favourite cases of all time and everytime I work on one I smile

    http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Akasa...SU-Best-Seller

It's £90 and it's lovely. It's WIDER than many cases, but not too tall.

    Other suggestion is Silverstone TJ04

Still a decent suggestion, has nice features too.

    Fixed TJ04 link

Forum seems to cut off the ) in the link. Scan should sort those URLs out

Re: Best case for around the £100 mark

    While it's not in stock yet I'm likeing the Lian-li pc60F http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Lian-...luminium-Black

As to the old wind tunnel, from what I've seen heard about it, it's ok, an intresting concept but doesn't have any real advantage over a case with good venterlation.

For around the £100 mark you have lots to look at
    Antec P182
    Antec 900
    Antec Solo
Coolermaster 690 (go for the side window version it's actually better)
    Coolermaster 590
Shrakoon rebel 12 (large but cheap)
    Low end Lian-Li and sliverstone
    Hiper Anubis
    Hiper Osiris
    Akasa Eclipse-62
The older thermaltake and gigabyte cases (which are still good and now cheaper)

A lot comes down to personal opinion, what you thinks looks good. internals are not always that inportant unless you are a continuious tweeker/fiddler
