Question Need a Case Long but Low

I've been looking to build my new computer for ages (like 12 months) but one of the first things holding me off was not being able to find a case that fits with my desk.

I really wanted the Antec 900 or Coolmaster Stacker but my computer desk can't accomidate them height wise.

Basically I have a long and wide desk but the case needs to be less than 400mm (40cm) high but still be a well known good case solution.

Nothing to complex (if you can get that in cases) mind you as i'm a complete newb when it comes to computer building.

You'll need an m-atx case then imo, if the antec 900 is too big, then pretty much all regular atx cases are too big

You do have the option of a Lian Li PC-A05 if an ATX motherboard is important, but I agree with the above post - you'd be better suited to a mATX setup. Silverstone's TJ08 is a cheap, simple, popular choice and has nice discreet and conservative styling too - none of that stupid blue LED fan crap, silly aggressive front panels or bling.

The Lian Li a05 is a great case (i have one)

it manages to be small and yet still be roomy...

The Lian Li A05 looks stunning, hadn't noticed the case myself until Gav's post.

Re: Need a Case Long but Low

Does it come with all the fans and stuff I need with it? Also is it realtivley easy to build in for someone who has never built a computer before?
