I have an AKASA 965 - they're pretty effective coolers. a lot of people rate them highly.

Me too, I think they did quite well in a hexus test among others, but I can't seem to find it.

I always liked the Xigmatek HD-S1283's. Great heatsink and a nice quiet fan

    Re: new cpu fan e5200

I don't want to sound like a broken record, but the Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme is one of the best coolers. Coupled with a 65W TDP CPU produces low load temperatures and the ability to mount low noise fans. Personally, I went for Noctua NF-P12s (so fast yet so quiet)

    Re: new cpu fan e5200

An Akasa AK965,Coolermaster Hyper TX 2 or an Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro will be more than enough for an overclocked E5200.

Anything more expensive is a bit OTT for a cool running 45nm chip like an E5200. It seems a bit daft to be spending £30+ on a heatsink for a £55 chip unless you are looking at passive cooling.
