Best Motherboard for Intel Core 2 Quad Q8400 build?

I may get this MB as well! Was looking at this http://www.ebuyer.com/product/161006 for a P45 option, but oh well, guess my good old E6300 can do with a X48 better!

The DFI Lan Party X48 actually looks really good, and the reviews Cat linked seem to praise it for performance and reliability.

Am I right in thinking the technology in X48 chipsets will be better than P45's?

And since the DFI board is a bit cheaper as well, I think you've swayed my choice. Thanks for all the advice everyone

The X48 is the top-end chipset and the P45 was derived from IIRC just like the P35 and X38. I would go for it quickly before it sells out just like the HD4830 1gb cards which were under £60 recently.
