They are expensive new (£20), think i might have a spare or two though, will have a look tomorrow.

There are a few issues with them too. the first Abit seriell ones do not support any kind of optical drive - they are incompatable with ATAPI devices. The abit seriell 2 versions are compatable.
Theres not much point in using a optical drive on sata as the controelrs are limted in bios options - to change the boot drive you acctually have to swap over the cables (with the si3112 chip using in the nf7-s and a sata card i have any way).

sata convertes usually limit a drive to 100mb/s (UDMA m5)instead of 133mb/s (UDMA M6) this makes no noticable performance difference on any currently avialable drives though so it doesnt matter...

apart from that theres not really any problems, if your using a nf7-s though make sure to use latest bios/drivers to get round the corruption issue.
I use a maxtor 160gb sata and a maxtor 120gb pata->sata conveter together with no problems.

Ive found two that I wont be needing, £10 each + postage if you want them. They are both seriell 1 versions and wont work with atapi drives (optical drives).
