But then I read it back and can only think of two areas of possible saving without chopping some of the niceties (Cosmos - 832 Stacker | Gigabyte - Asus P6T). Even that saves sub-£100.

Maybe the SSD could be dropped, maybe whatever Ati that costs £200 at the end of the month could take ithe 295's place and I'd be happy with that.
Thing is I'm glad they're there because it helps to make this a pretty stonking machine

    davely it'll be mega

Imo i still stand by my SSD recommendation. Also if this was to be my build (and seen as you wont be getting it till later this month) i would either go for a Radeon HD 5870, those review statistics on a thread here somewhere show its arguable equal to a GTX 295 and handles AA well - in addition to using less power.
Kalniel: "Nice review Tarinder - would it be possible to get a picture of the case when the components are installed (with the side off obviously)?"
CAT-THE-FIFTH: "The Antec 300 is a case which has an understated and clean appearance which many people like. Not everyone is into e-peen looking computers which look like a cross between the imagination of a hyperactive 10 year old and a Frog."
TKPeters: "Off to AVForum better Deal - £20+Vat for Free Shipping @ Scan"
for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.

Yeah, my current PC has 4tb of space and I have about 10% free, only reason I have that is due to the OS...

I've modified it futher, for an extra 75 im making those 1gb to 1.5gb, so it'll have 6.5tb

Do I need to worry about buying additional cables etc.?

Hey, me too! Want to start a 5TB+ owners' club?

If you use much more storage Davely, you'll probably need a server at this rate!
