stock coolers - Phenom II on a Athlon II X4

simple question which requires a nice simple answer.

will the stock cooler from a Phenom II X4 920 cool an athlon II X4 620 better than its own stock cooler?

i'm assuming they come with different coolers, and that the phenom cooler is beefier than the athlon one due to the higher TDP.


should be a simple question (probably isnt though)

Simple answer: YES!!

The Athlon II X4 probably comes with an all aluminium cooler like the Phenom II X3.

Yes the stock phenom 2 coolers are quite quiet on full tilt I could barely hear it over any of the other quiet fans in my rig. Its also a damn good cooler for a freebie
