ta2, I came across that exact same review while Binging for undervolting info on the 425. I'll be re-building the machine on Friday with the new parts so I'll do a system power draw check and report back.

My main PC draws ~130W at idle with Cool 'n' Quiet so I've got hopes for better from this build.

You definitely won't be able to undervolt it and unlock the 4th core. Otherwise they wouldn't have badged the processor as a 425.

That won't stop me giving it a go though!

I'm aware its likely to be a trade-off between a possible 4th core or lower power consumption with the sensible choice being lower power considering the application.
