    Pinter issue

hey guys, i recently bought a kodak esp 5 inkjet all in one printer a few weeks ago and was quite pleased with my purchase. i printed out a few test pages, but subsequently, all of my prints were just black and white. then, the other day, i tried to print a picture but i found that the printer would print all colours except magenta. i tried using another colour cartridge (it uses combined cmyk cartidges and a separate black cartridge) but this didnt help either. i thought perhaps the cartridge had dried or something, but when i checked the cartridge itself, all colours were still running. any ideas what could be wrong?

    thanks in advance
