Which is the best all in one cpu water cooler?

I am looking towards getting a heatsink upgrade for my Phenom II 965 BE Cpu, as the heatsink that came with it does not seem so great. I currently get a cpu temp of 38c but goes upto around 60c if stress tested.

So I have been thinking of getting one of the all in one water cooling heatsinks like the Corsair H50 or the Cool It DM 1000, the trouble is working out which of the all in one water coolers is actually the best on the market currently. No review sites seem to actually compare the all in one water coolers together which makes picking the best one really hard. Or as an alternative is their actually an air cooler for around the same price which works as well as the all in one water coolers? I know I am a bit old fashioned but to me liquid and electronics should never mix and is one of the reasons I dont want to actually self build a water cooling unit of my own.

Re: Which is the best all in one cpu water cooler?

Best Value all in one water cooler in my book (MUST) be da Corsair H50 System only £55-£60 depending on where you shop, goes on easy... however must be half-decent at DIY or moding.

Not that its a big job, NO - Just needs the radiator fixed to the right area, etc.

Corsair has gotten some of the best reviews, too many to mention, however just google mate.

    Take Care... Lax

Re: Which is the best all in one cpu water cooler?

Frostytech.com says on a 125W AMD CPU the Domino ALC wins
    It's 1deg cooler @ high although 15dBA louder than the H50
Scan says it's also £13 more expensive.

    Swings and roundabouts really

Personally I'd go for the coolermaster 212 plus
under the same conditions it's 0.5deg cooler than the ALC and 10dBA quieter too!
not to mention you can pick it up for only £17.88 @ play.com
thats about £60 cheaper. surely gotta be a no brainer!

Re: Which is the best all in one cpu water cooler?

erm there is a new one called coolit eco which came out recently i think u should wait until we get some reviews on that and some testing because coolit has to produce something to go ahead with the h50 price wise and performance wise price is nearly the same but we dont know yet about the performance

Re: Which is the best all in one cpu water cooler?

I tend to like to buy from scan but in a strange turn of events the Coolit is actually cheaper from PCworld if you preorder before picking it up.
The Coolermaster 212 does look like an intresting choice as does the Gelid Tranquillo http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Gelid...0-AM2-AM2plus- which of course have the advantage of being cheaper and having no chance of leaking liquid all over my computer.
Thanks for all the help and links so far though

Re: Which is the best all in one cpu water cooler?

Go for the cm 212 it's cheaper, but if you really want water cooling go for H50.

BTW did you plan to overclock?
