A request to Hexus! IDE HDD

This is a bit cheeky, but figured it would be worth a shot. Does anyone have an old IDE hard drive, any make, any size in working order they want to donate to my carPC fund? I am massively over budget atm, yet need an IDE HDD to use with an old PC I have.

I will pay postage & a pint to anyone who has one! Cheers guys

I got an old 80GB you can have at postal cost. IDE, but maybe duff, so take the chance ? Cant test it here cuz my IDE is broken.

I will probably have a 80Gb 3.5" Seagate by the end of the weekend, given the size I suspect it's IDE. You're welcome to have that for £8 (sent Royal mail special delivery)

I have a 200gig hd in my old pc, still need to go through and remove any software i may need, but if it is of interest to you i`ll speed things up.

A massive thank you to you all, i stumbled across an old 250gb IDE im going to try first, just bought an AGP graphics card off ebay so once that turns up ill test the HDD & report back.

if you`d said you needed a an AGP card as well i could have thrown you my old xfx 7800GS, works fine and of no use to me anymore at all.

Hard drive died on me & graphics card is as usefull as a drunk driver. PM Sent Baker
