    One comparison I saw showed MX-2 to have a slight advantage but, It was only a very small advantage.

    I've got load of tubes of thermal paste from when I've bought coolers and then just used AS on them instead.

    I've read articles about 'best practice' of removing and re-applying fresh paste every 12 months etc. But, I've never bothered. Maybe if I noticed a rise in the temps I might but, Otherwise I leave well alone.
