I had a 6800 rpm jobbo on my SK6.....my ears wre on fire after an hour.....but it was COOL .

Gave up on it tho...just could not survive the whining....it was immense;y loud. ...and piercing.

Its loud for sure but i cant hear it over the surround sound speakers or the stereo so im happy. 4000rpm this one and shifting twice as much air as the papst which is now my rear exhaust... its all cool

I once has a side vent for my Celeron 366@550....made it myself....spent ages cutting the hole, rounding it, smoothing it ..for my case fan.

Put it under the desk once done...and it was up against the side wall of the desk and did no good at all

Had to cut a hold in the DESK sides ....

but it was so loud I gave up
