Will it actually tell me if it's the mobo or RAM though? To actually test the memory I would have thought the data would have to go to the CPU and back, so I'm still none the wiser if it's the mobo or RAM surely?

Anyway, since I can't afford to replace RAM or motherboard right now, it's academic anyway.
