you can put the ram and chipset back to their default speeds mate which I believe are 1.6 chip and 2.6 ram otherwise its gonna get hot in eeeeerrre!
Now that youve got 200fsb start raising the multiplier try 9.5

Its not in a shuttle its on a nf7s boardOriginally Posted by Tom
yeah its in a nonrmal size tower with a couple of fans, so that aint a problem
temps are holding at 49 and 33 in the case, so not too bad...

CPU voltage sounds fine, i run my 2600+ thoroughbred at 1.65v @ 200 x 11 so i don't see why you should have a problem.
also dont forget the NF7 under volts normall by abou 0.05v so 1.7v may really be 1.65v
Look fine, now whack that multi up and get 2.4Ghz!

both of these are great if you want to push things
That sounds fine. Why were you worried your RAM would run at 200MHz? It is DDR400 after all. Try setting your processor to 200*11 with a 1.75 voltage. That should be easily attainable.
To err is human. To really foul things up ... you need a computer.
Erm, totally unrelated; I have 2 SATA disks in RAID 0. Which IDE channel should my DVD drive be connected to? Also slave or master? CD access seems to be problematic...

Well, if you have no IDE hard disks or other IDE devices, connect your DVD drive to your Primary IDE channel as master.

You shouldn't really have had any hassle getting it to work at 200fsb because you have some quality items there. What other settings have you got in bios in relation to ratio's etc. For stability I've always found it best to run 6/6 when going with a 200fsb and 3200 ram. The chip definitely doesn't need any more voltage than stock to run at 1800 - I would keep everything at stock volts until you get it sorted - then you can start to overclock and maybe use higher voltages to get there.
Have a look at these settings m8.

wohoo!
Currently running at 200x12=2400 Mhz! Going through a test of Prime95 now. What other programs are good for stability testing? Also, at 1.75 volts to the CPU, how much more can I push through it (temps permitting) before it gets dodgy?

memtest is usually a good one too..
If you get the nvidia utility, you should be able to overclock from within windows, so if you're prime95-ing you can slowy crank it up until you start to get errors, then back it off a bit
