He will need to get an inverter which will also change it to 240v, this way he can just plug the pc straight into it through a kettle lead and it will smooth the power aswell.

I think we are a long way off requiring a 3 phase supply for PC's although Nvidia are heading that way LOL

Acctually im sure that the power brick would have given less power than what nvidia plan to take on there cards - people have better psu's now in general, so theres no need to force the power brick on everyone...Originally Posted by Kez
