    Re: 3DMark '13 score thread

the KGB (kepler golden bios???) bios mod is meant to allow larger offsets. I think thats what TB is getting at?

    Re: 3DMark '13 score thread

The GTX660 does seem to be limited to only 110% offset it seems.

I might need to do some more research.

    Re: 3DMark '13 score thread

Tried K-Boost in EVGA Precision and set it at a 1202MHZ,which is the maximum boost with 100MHZ offset. The score is the same as before:

    http://www.3dmark.com/3dm/563649

    Edit!!

    Voltage is 1.161V it seems.

Normal voltage is 0.95V and the card has a slight pre-overclock.

    Re: 3DMark '13 score thread

It seems my HD6530D is running at 696MHZ instead of the stock 443MHZ - it looks like the Asus motherboard might be overclocking my IGP for some reason??

    Here is my score:

I just realised I had not switched off the AMD controlled tessellation - did you??

Regarding the boost in clockspeed its the AI Tuner thingy IIRC.

    Re: 3DMark '13 score thread

    Sorry to dissapoint .

I decided to have a go and OC my 4770k as far as i could stable with acceptable temps, i managed to get to 4.9ghz.. Which shocked me on Haswell.. Must have gotten a good chip.

I also have a play with the GPU core and mem settings.

    I do believe this is far as i'd be able to go;

    Score: 8020

There's an AMD controlled tessellation thingy!?

I did mean to have a good overclocking bash at some point, since I've got that chunky Zalman on it, but I don't really do much gaming so haven't got round to it. Besides, it's in an HTPC so I'm not really that bothered - I've always got the 7750 for proper gaming!

Yep,it is primarily for the VLIW5 baseded DX11 cards, where the AMD drivers dial down the tessellation if the level is too high.

    Edit!!

That means our results are comparable. That is not a bad increase, just for leaving one setting on in the BIOS!!

Yeah, pretty impressive. Might have to fiddle later and play some dungeon siege 3 to see if it bumps my framerates up much (haven't played that game in ages anyway - getting a bit of a yearning )
