well, i personally think that over 200k for 1 signature is too much!208.69 KB (213703 bytes)And I remember when a certin 36K mouse pic was removed and deamed to big for 56kers!
Stick it in imageready and optimise it for web
Being a 56ker I normally limit mine to as low as I can possibly get away with without losing quality, but my nice ones sit at a max around 35K
Big file sizes can degrade how a thread display's depending on format and can result in post's not displaying until previous images have loaded animated gifs are a 56kers
nightmare.
Just use common sense, and abide by the forum rulings, and try not to jump on people seconds after they have posted somethingfar better to make a mod aware by pm or post report feature if not amended suitably after giving a user time to notice any mistake.
If you have a gif image but no photoshop, try a online search for online gif convertors, there are a few freebie sites out there you can upload a gif to and they present you a multiple set on alternatives you can pick and choose
from.
