    I don't have SP2 installed on any of my systems, tried it once and nearly immediately took it off.....total waste of time and resources.

    SP2 was on 3 pc's here, now its on 1 ....... definitely not a fan myself, one wouldn't boot after installing it and my HTPC has had it removed as it stops the Hauppauge Nova-t from working completely.

    I think M$ have messed up here and should have tested it ALOT more before releasing it.

    I didn't mean this to go into a huge discussion about the advantages/disadvantages of SP2. Personally I like it.

    Very interesting results, is a 3200XP the same as a 3.2ghz CPU? I read that my 3200XP+ only works at the same speed as an intel 2.6hgz?

    Almost, your 3200+ runs at 2.2 Ghz, but performs much better than a 2.2 Ghz P4.. someone else can explain it for you.. I am tooo tired to even remember how it works

    I think (although i could be wrong) that it's something to do with busses. Parts of the CPU are closer together, and therefore it takes slightly less time for a signal to get from one point to the other???

    Not quite. The simplest way of explaining it is that an AMD CPU does more work in a clock cycle than a Pentium 4 does, therefore a 2.2ghz Athlon is, according to AMD's marketing department, comparable to a 3.2ghz P4.
    PHP Code:
    $s = new signature();
    $s->sarcasm()->intellect()->font('Courier New')->display();
