About LinkBacksI don't have SP2 installed on any of my systems, tried it once and nearly immediately took it off.....total waste of time and resources.

SP2 was on 3 pc's here, now its on 1 ....... definitely not a fan myself, one wouldn't boot after installing it and my HTPC has had it removed as it stops the Hauppauge Nova-t from working completely.
I think M$ have messed up here and should have tested it ALOT more before releasing it.

I didn't mean this to go into a huge discussion about the advantages/disadvantages of SP2. Personally I like it.
Very interesting results, is a 3200XP the same as a 3.2ghz CPU? I read that my 3200XP+ only works at the same speed as an intel 2.6hgz?

I think (although i could be wrong) that it's something to do with busses. Parts of the CPU are closer together, and therefore it takes slightly less time for a signal to get from one point to the other???Me thinks Amd are catching up in the gaming market

Not quite. The simplest way of explaining it is that an AMD CPU does more work in a clock cycle than a Pentium 4 does, therefore a 2.2ghz Athlon is, according to AMD's marketing department, comparable to a 3.2ghz P4.

i think the results are quite high spec. that for sure isent a work environment result as anyone who works in the industry like myself know just how slow alot of offices machine really are
