Eclipse computers told me Tuesday and now overclock.co.uk have them down for due in on Tuesday also. This I find promising because this is the first due date overclock have had, so I guess they've been holding off until they've been given a date which looks likely. Fingers crossed!

I've just bought (ordered on Saturday) the non-deluxe one from cpucity. OK, maybe not the cheapest, but at least they had it in stock. Building a PC for a mate and he's getting rather impatient...

Hmmm I thought the A8N-SLi standard wasn't out yet...

Just looked on cpucity and it's not in stock - but I guess it could have just gone out of stock or something.

These boards seem very hard to come by!

Hmm. Does that mean I could in fact be receiving the Deluxe version?
I've just had an email from CPU City - order has been dispatched. Will have to wait and see what arrives

edit - just looked at their website and it just says A8N-SLI. Following the link they provide to Asus' site, it's the SLI and not SLI deluxe.

Also happy I bought it when I did - they now say out of stock

Yeh it'll be the standard. I just didn't think it was out yet - but now I think about it I think they said it'd be out early January so that makes sense.

The standard in my opinion isn't worth it. The deluxe has some extra features which I think warrant the extra cash and wait. For a start it has 8 SATA ports which are 4 on nForce SATA and 4 on Silicon Image SATA. All supporting RAID which is nice.

If only I could afford the 8 SATA HDDs to equip it....

That's very true. But I like the idea that I can have 2 drives on separate channels. The speed increase gotta be good.
