another vote for canon. Mine is an s200, cheap as chips but works ok and the ink is uberubercheap from ebuyer and lasts a reasonably long time too

If you get a canon dont get a BCI-24 based or other dirt cheap cart as they in actual
fact dont work out cheaper then others. I have to change them all the time.
Cheap ink isnt as good as canon branded either. If you get a canon go for the slightly
better one you will get 3 times the amount of prints for a cart.
i have an epson c66 and am v inpressed also cheap on oc'ers.co.uk
Well I am going to buy a HP 3550 I think as it is cheap.

I've had experience of numerous Epson, HP & Canon printers over the years. TBH, any printer for £50 or less is well and truly 'budget', and all will have their issues - built quality, head quality, paper feed issues etc etc etc..Originally Posted by wedge22
IMHO, whilst Canon offer the best output quality, and Epson the best speed, HP are the best all-rounders and thier on-site warranty program is admirable too.. (even if their idea of a 'Photo printer' is a joke'..)
