    the cooler on my a64 is at 4000rpm when idle, on a normal 30C day, and when its a 25C day, the cooler is at 3300+/- rpms, and after i game and the system is still hot, it is at 5000rpm.
    the temp of my cpu is the same, 45C. so, if it is CnC controlled, then somehow i think it is really screwed up as im idling thoroughtout all 3 scenarios

    I've yet to see my AMD stock HSF hit more than 3100rpm & that's on load with an overclocked CPU (mind you my room temp isn't 30C)!
