What I buy depends upon what I need rather than to gain benchmarking points - e.g. a new DVD-RW is hardly likely to gain any benchmarking points but if it's what I need...

It's a mandatory answer but I'm not a business so whether I answer yes or no it gives a false result. i.e.You could end up getting a 100% of "yes" answers but perhaps only 1% of those answers may actually be from businesses - if you were planning a business based on that result you would be in for a shock when 99% of your predicted market didn't exist .

Didn't submit. Found many of the questions poorly worded and a bit confusing. Would have also liked some of the questions to have an option to not give information, in particular the income question.

I filled it out, but I think you might want to re-think your questions as it was a pretty poorly designed questionnaire.

For instance, you used radio buttons for a lot of multiple choice questions where tick boxes would have been more appropriate as more than one answer was applicable.
