no output, need some help

i have at last recived the final bit to one of my new builds, and for some reason there is no output!!! i need help on what to do/try
the graphics card and the ram and cpu work (all tested) mobo was a new replacment. after i plug everything in and turn on, it powers but no output....:S

Tried changing the graphics card?

Also if there is onboard graphics, they may need to be disabled first before you can use the graphics card.
