Shouldn't matter. Presumably you don't have a Silicon Image controller on there too, because if you did you'd have 8 ports?

Yeah, I've got the SI controller, but I'm choosing to use the NVRAID, as I've heard it's a bit nippier.
Well, issues with possible mismatched 6800's aside, the beast powered up for the first time this evening at 19:15, and I'm now formatting my lovely new RAID-0 141MB partition as we speak.. I can hear Windoze cackling in anticipation... Oh.. Wait... That's me..

Raptors actually run pretty cool compared to other drives.
