    BIOS flash kit, anyone know?

One of my friend's friend has one. I don't know the exact name. It's basically a PCB with a BIOS slot on it, connect to the comp through a com port, and there's a software for it that can programme the chip put in there.

The question is, anybody know that, or something similar. (and don't tell me to ask, cause he won't say a thing)
