    San Diego 4000 Motherbored

Hi, ive got a mate looking to get one of these with an ASUS A8N -SLI Delux. Will it need a bios upgrade for it to boot? And if so is there any way to do with without the hassle of fitting another chip first.

sorry and to answer your 2nd part of the question...... download the driver to floppy and hold ALT+F2 on boot. This will force it to boot from the disc.

Thanks, ill make sure he getts a floppy drive, didnt want to go through putting another chip in, heatsinking it up and so on.

I have a Asus A8N myself and personaly i think there the best around, the selector switch looks rather dodgey on most of the other bords. So asus for teh win IMO.
