thanks guys... really needed the confidence boost with my AXP. Was running HL2 flawlessly too at maxed out quality wif 4xAA on 1280x1024. But the CPU is getting a little old even at OC 3200+... been thru heartache (dissapointing 5600 Ultra) and happy times (6800GT) with my 2500+ barton. Will change to a 939 in a couple of months... Will still keep this rig wif an older 9800XT.

Allen.. Will not try case mods. If I can't get this rig into an SFF, will probably decorate it wif a bunch of fans and a windowed side wif neons just to make myself feel better. ehehhee... long live A-XP!! (a legacy long remembered)

all im basically saying is that if he is spending further money (ha about more money than braincells as he is spending more money...so he could buy a sli board and have braincells...) he might aswell flog the AGP and buy a PCI-E as when it comes to upgrade he will buy yet another A64 board... that way he wont have to buy a second mobo when upgrading in the further...

yea... Cudn't bear using my brother's 2.4Ghz P4 that crashes almost everytime I used it. My system fits pretty well into my luggage but I was thinking of bringing my xbox back this time around... so was looking for something smaller to fit my system. I had a look around Sheffield yesterday and found a pretty nifty mini ATX by ASUS. Its actually the exact size of my mobo's form factor... stuffed the PSU next to mobo instead of above it. Cost a little above £40, might just be worried about ventilation in those casings....
