I accidentally ran my system without the radiator fan on yesterday. After 5 hours of gaming it was still stable (water was at 47C). Try that with an air cooler.Originally Posted by ibmike

If in 1 months time i wanted to add a cooler for my g card would i be able to add it with the above kit or would i need to upgrade the pump and res Bla Blah
Sorry for the noobie questions
Also, im not sure about a couple of those choices. Why order the reservoir form somewhere else? With the postage it'll be £24.48, id suggest you choose one of the bay reservoirs from watercoolingshop instead.
Secondly why have you suggested the nexXxos? i dont know much about it so it may be a sensible choice, but it doesnt seem to even come with 1/2" fittings. With a pump that powerful id go with a Danger Den RBX for just £22.33.
However this is more complicated to fit and maybe not best for a first time system (though i have just ordered it for my first setup as you may have seen in my thread).
You could add your graphics card to that loop with no problems.
Also remember a fan and some thermal paste.
What graphics card do you have?

Radeon 9600 pro
Does it use a certain thermal paste or any paste ????
Yep must order a fan lol
Any paste should do, obviously the better the paste the lower your temps will be.
I think there is a good price on a danger den radeon waterblock on watercooling shop, but seeing as you will probably be over budget without it, maybe just keep it in mind for the future.
If you decided to go for the alphacool kit I have a compatible GPU block that I would sell

Yeah but it might be worth doing it all in one hit so i will think abit more
Is there anything to look out for when buying water cooling equipment ???

Wow so thats £127 for all the water cooling bits and to cool theOriginally Posted by mgh0

And northbridge ??
Does anyone know how the german style kits compare. ie kits with thinner tubing and lower powered pumps such as this.
Is there any particular case that you guys would suggest for a good watercooling system ???
Or does it not matter
Thanks
